This is an email sent to the mulVid waitlist on September 17th, 2026.
Howdy,
TL;DR: More details on V1.0.0 progress and Desktop Versions
First of all, a warm welcome to the new members of the waitlist. Happy to have you here.
For those interested in (or that missed) previous emails, they are published on the blog of my site. My site link is at the bottom of this email.
This was another good month in terms of what we've accomplished. Didn't quite hit the milestones we had set out for v1.0.0 but things like that are bound to happen when you're doing stuff that's never been done before. Things are still on track but I might have to extend the release date by a few more months to ensure the quality of the final product doesn't fall short. I'll have a definitive answer on that in next month's email.
For those wondering, mulVid is web-first but we will have native desktop versions for Windows, Apple and Linux. The aim is to allow you to carry out any video production you have regardless of your computer system. The web app will be the first release followed by the native Linux version, then Windows and finally Apple. Your subscription will work across all four versions and I'm also mulling over the idea of a pay-once-own-forever license for those that are fine not getting new updates to the app. We'll cross that bridge when we get there.
Finally, like I said in the last email, the waitlist closes once v1.0.0 is released and is limited to the
first 2,000 people. If you know anyone following along with these updates that hasn't signed up yet, tell them to get to it. They could miss out on preferential pricing for life and it only take a few minutes.
That's all folks! Thanks for reading and as always forward this to anyone you think'll be interested and ask them to join the
waitlist.
Kind regards,
Chukwuemeka Nelson Nwauche.
